With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Jane Tindall (Memphis, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2024 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Vancleave and Hazel Vancleave; her grandparents, Victor and Gladys Young; her great grandchildren, Bailey and Shelby Young; and her nephew Eric Vancleave.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Amsden (Brenda) and Melissa Dorning (Jay); her grandchildren, Justin Dorning (Anna), Chris Amsden and Tiffany Young (Clifford); her great grandchildren, Audrey Spicer, John William Dorning, Oakleigh Dorning, Austin Amsden, Madelyn Amsden, Colby Young, Carson Young, Don Young (Chelsea) and Amanda Worley (Joseph); her great great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jett, Ramsey, Piper, Tilleigh and Shiloh; and her brother Jerry Vancleave (Nancy).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the High Point Funeral Home and Crematorium (3788 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119).
