She was predeceased by: her parents, James Biedenharn and Mable Biedenharn; her husband Lonnie Gerald Boyd; her daughter Connie Boyd Bailey; her sisters, Jimmie Faye Neblett and Mary Estelle Majors; and her siblings-in-law, Jay Boyd, Robert Edward Neblett Sr. (Bob), Dorothy Boyd Carpenter and Elsie Boyd English.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Boyd McLaughlin (David) and Carol Boyd Cook (Tony); her son-in-law Steve Bailey; her grandchildren, Stephen Bailey (Margaret), Jordan Caroline Cook, Taylor Williams Ivers (Franklin), Mary Claire Cook Harper (Houston), Brady Allen McLaughlin and Loni Catherine Cook; and her friend Beth Rone Ross (Ben). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lakewood Funeral Home & Memorial Park (6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
