He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hendrix and Floy Cummings; and his siblings, Ilene Cummins, Manzanita Burfield, Eschal "Brick" Hendrix and Judy Brawley.
He is survived by: his wife Janie; his children, Lauren Daughtry (Scott), Carol Ann Weidenhoffer (Greg) and John Hendrix (Kristi); his grandchildren, Anna Jordan Hendrix, Tanner Hendrix and Abbey Weidenhoffer; his sister Carolyn Sawrie (Gary); his nephews, Woody Cummins (Cora) and Mike Cummins (Myrna); and his niece Charlotte Vallar (Steve).
