He was predeceased by: his siblings, Betty Suratt Butler and Bruce Suratt. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Posey Suratt; his siblings, Laura Qualls (Joe), Charles Suratt (Faye), Gayle Suratt (Marie) and Gene Suratt; his children, Gail S. Davis (Ronnie) and Robert Suratt (Rachel); and his stepsons, John D. Hoffman and Jaye M. Hoffman. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; a great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to Union Avenue Baptist Church.
