It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Joe Pilgrim (Memphis, Tennessee), born in Dyersburg, Tennessee, who passed away on July 24, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his spouse Gloria "Penny" Pilgrim of Memphis, TN; his children, Charles Pilgrim of Hendersonville, TN, James Boettcher (Sherry) of Southaven, MS, Billie Ruth Applegate (Jerry) of Hernando, MS, Bridgett Evon Odom of Southaven, MS and Christina Marie Mangum (Carl) of Byram, MS; and his siblings, Robert Lee Pilgrim of Lincoln, AR, Jerry Pilgrim (Judy) of Conyers, GA, Helen Jean Deanman of Ray City, GA and Jennie Seaman of Mobile, AL. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
