She was predeceased by : her parents, Doyle C. Nix and Callie C. Busby; and her daughter Sandy Chism. She is survived by : her husband Terry Winstead; her children, Michell Chism, Kelly Simon (Damien), Margaret Winstead, Joe Wayne Winstead, Bobby Randall Chism and Joshua Wideman; her siblings, Sharon Keeton, Phyllis Wideman, Marsha Lawrence (Craig), Cindy McQueen (Harold), Pat McGough, Sheila Walker, Dianne Malone, Sammy Busby and Randy Lee Busby; her grandchildren, Latisha McCollum, Callie Simon, Damiana Simon, Sandy Simon, Michael Anthony Wayne Simon, Jordan Wideman, Bobby Chism, Jr., Briana Chism, Ocean Winstead and Porter Winstead; and her great grandchild Harley Cantrell.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Hill Funeral Home (2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
