She was predeceased by: her mother Willie Mae Reed; her siblings, Shirley Calhoun and Daniel Saulsberry; her grandchildren, Faith, Alexandria Adams and Sean Adams, Jr. (Bettye); and her children, Felecia Johnson-Walker, Angela Adams (Sean Sr.) and Melvin Boddie, Jr. (Tamatha). She is also survived by four brothers, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
