She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeston C. Kates and Minnie Bell Bradford Kates; and her sister Jeanne Tebo (Bill Vaughn). She is survived by: her daughter Kim Melton (Mark); her grandchildren, Lunden and Adam Melton; her nephew Michael Tebo; her brother-in-law Norman Vaughn (Bob Wilson); and also, Frank, Mark and Andy Gubera.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (706 S Highland St, Memphis, TN 38111). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
