He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Clayton and Ruby Clayton; his son Shane Davis Clayton; and his nephew Brandon Kidwell. He is survived by: his wife Susan Collins Clayton; his siblings, Bo Clayton (Barbara), Gail Elsken (Dennis), Sandy Bridges (Sid), Jody Gatewood (Greg) and Alicia Cook (Bill); his nieces and nephews, David Myers, Ben Carpenter, Brad Clayton, Laurie Cipalla, Jennifer Mueller, Shelley Seavers, Heather Roberts, Laney Ellsworth, Katy Ellsworth and Ariel Morrow; and his uncle Jim Surber.
