He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margaret Stewart Mason; his daughter Deborah Smith Thompson of Dallas, TX; his stepchildren, Diana of David and Debora Ann; and his nieces, Nora Parnell, Linda Sherrill, Dorothy Sanders and Pam Powell.
