She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. C. W. Allen and Rebecca S. Allen; her former husband Rev. Malvin Massey, Sr.; her siblings, Clinton Allen Jr., Sarah Shirley, Evelyn Coleman, Rubye Wesson and Joseph Allen; her daughter Cheryl Davis; and her granddaughter Tajuana White.
She is survived by: her husband James Mack Greene; her children, Madelyne McNeal (Robert), Lillian Leverette and Jeffrey Jackson (Roslyn) of Baltimore, Maryland; her sister Edna Clayton; her grandchildren, Madelyne Brown, James Davis and Joslyn Jackson of Baltimore Maryland; her great grandchildren, Tenisha Brown, Jahliyah Davis, James Davis Jr. and Alana Marie White; and also Dr. Marla Mardis of Georgia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harrison's Memorial Chapel, Inc. (3320 Millbranch Rd, Memphis, TN 38116). Viewing was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:55 AM at the Washington Chapel C. M. E. Church (68 E Mitchell Rd, Memphis, TN 38109). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Historic Elmwood Cemetery (824 S Dudley St, Memphis, TN 38104).
