She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Baylor Mims and Lillian Payne Mims Donahoo; her brother William Baylor Mims; and her grandson Mark Christopher Obert, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Sam R. Obert; her sons, Mark Christopher Obert (Lesley) of West Memphis, Keith David Obert (Alaine) of Madison and Samuel Alexander Obert of Asheville; her grandchildren, Kim Ann McCutcheon (Casey) and Dr. Baylor Anderson Obert (Adria) of Brandon; her great grandchild Branlee Mark McCutcheon; and her daughter-in-law Mireille Radwan Dana.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Usrey Funeral Home (516 North St E, Talladega, AL 35160). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Usrey Funeral Home Chapel (516 North St E, Talladega, AL 35160).
Flowers, of course, may be given; alternatively, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital and the American Cancer Society in Alice's name.
