It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Ann Broussard of Memphis, Tennessee, born in Edgard, Louisiana, who passed away on October 11, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Septime Poirrier and Mary Poirrier (Navarra); her former husband Meryl C. Broussard Sr.; her son Meryl C. Broussard Jr.; and her sister Estelle Papania (Poirrier).
She is survived by: her children, Charles Broussard of Cincinnati, OH, Paula Mohead (Jim) of Dyersburg, TN, Mary Lynn Huguet (Carey) of New Orleans, LA, Kim Bevis (Bill) of Knoxville, TN, Lisa Ryan (Pat) of Lawrence, KS and Tina O'Brien (John) of Memphis, TN; and her husband Meals. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren, her seven remaining siblings, many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
