With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ada Mae Humphries (Memphis, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benny Wilson and Humphries; and her stepfather Johnnie Mae Jackson. She is survived by: her husband Aaron Humphries; her sons, Renaldo Johnson and Carlos Taylor; her grandson Carlton Davidson; her great grandchild Kingston Davidson; her siblings, John B. Jackson, Jr. (Georgia) and Johnnie Etta Johnson; her children, Shirley Johnson, Carolyn Bell (Brian), Veronica Davidson, Emeldrid Nwankwo (Ken), Carmen Hicks (Chris), Shelia Davidson, Ronnie Davidson, Terry Davidson and Earnest Taylor (Pat); her daughter-in-law Cynthia Boise; and her siblings, Clyde Jackson and Dorothy Jackson Bellard. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and a host of special relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the Harrison's Memorial Chapel, Inc. (3320 Millbranch Rd, Memphis, TN 38116). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:20 PM at the Memphis National Cemetery (3558 Townes Ave, Memphis, TN 38122).
