He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Hendrick and Hilda Hagameister Hendrick; his parents-in-law, Harold and Katherine Hodge; and his brothers-in-law, Victor Hodge and Doug Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Marcie Hodge Hendrick; his children, James Hendrick (Laura) of New York, Ty Hendrick (Amanda) of Texas, Susan Cushman (Chuck) of Montana and Shelly Evans of Alabama; his sister Sue Shade (Pat) of Arkansas; his sisters-in-law, Peggy Jones of Tennessee, Joyce Young (David) of Tennessee and Kay Davis (Mike) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Jessica (Graham), Josh (Allysa), Zoe, Aubrey, Christian (Martin), Jarrett (Bailee) and Kade; and his great grandchildren, Malachi, Scout, Oaklee, Haven, Eowyn, Estellise, Esther, Lily, Julian and Cooper.
The family is requesting that memorial contributions be made in honor of "Jim's Trail of Hope Nature Walk" located on the campus of the Hope Recovery Center, 1925 Hwy. 18, Medon, TN 38356.
