He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Wheat Gross; his sister Lauren Miller; and his children, Pam Hiedbrick (Herb), Debra Hubbard (Ed), Anna Gross, Lori Root (David), George Gross, B. J. Gross (Lori), Monte Cooper, Jr. (Shea) and Johnny Roach, Jr. (Carry). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
