He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Flowers Thompson and Elizabeth Bledsoe Thompson; his wife Rebecca Parker Thompson; his sons, Robert Reginald Thompson (Lisa) of Nashville and Andrew Joseph Thompson (Angie) of Burns; and his brother Joe Thompson of Trenton. He was also cherished by five sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
