She is survived by: her children, Johnny Vanalstine (Sarah), Emmitte Vanalstine (Deedee), Clifford Vanalstine (Kristy), Ann Hensley (Tim), Connie Sanders (Leon) and Mary Suratt (Jason); her siblings, Preston Rainey, Jo Helen Carter, Carolyn Rainey and Billie Rainey; and her close friend Chuck Burrson. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
