It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Clarke of Medina, Tennessee, born in Henderson, Tennessee, who passed away on June 23, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Smith and Dovie Smith; her husband William A. Clarke; her siblings, Sue Zugbaum, Avo Barnes, Edward Smith, Joe Smith and Orvie Smith; and her daughter-in-law Susan Diane Clarke.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Clarke (Denise) and Dianne Matheny (Rick); her brother Amo Smith; and also, Bernice and Sandra Smith. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Medina First Baptist Church.
