He was predeceased by: his parents, Chimus King Jones and Julie Melverda Jones (Cox); his grandson Ben Burgess, II; and his siblings, Bobby, Buddy, Tommy, Lisa, Peggy, Frances, Linda, Joyce and Teresa.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Jones, Alisha Jones and Erica Jones; his grandchildren, Ashley Putman, Chelsea Jones, Jeffery Burgess, Liam Goodson and Whitley Knolton; his great grandchildren, Callie Putman and CJ Putman; and his sisters, Susie Neal and Martha Love.
