She was predeceased by: her parents, Domingo Colón and Susana Cerezo of Rivera. She is survived by: her children, William "Willie" Ortiz (Robin) of Jackson, Robert Ortiz (Susan) of Cliftside Park, Eddie Plerqui of Cohoes and Beatrice Quiñones (Sam) of Wilton; and her sister Rosa Santos of Indiana. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
