She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Slaughter and Grace Fults Slaughter; her husband Charles Brock; her siblings, Laura Smartt (Bill), Frances Butcher, Eva Nell Bess, Lodema Slaughter, Alma Barnes (Sherman), Geneva Smartt (George), Hughey Slaughter (Irene), J. E. Slaughter (Hattie), Dud Slaughter (Peggy) and Leon Slaughter; and her siblings-in-law, Juanita, Alvin Ledford and Carol Brock.
She is survived by: her sons, Duane Brock of McMinnville and Shane Brock of McMinnville; her granddaughters, Samantha Roller (Cameron) of McMinnville and Kelsey Jones of McMinnville; her great grandchildren, Rylan Roller of McMinnville and Tinsley West of McMinnville; her sister Hallie Warren of McMinnville; her siblings-in-law, G. D. Bess of McMinnville, Paul Brock of Pikeville, Karen, Tom Hill of Southern Pines, NC, Ralph and Wanda Brock of McMinnville; her nieces, Glenda Woodlee and Freda Hennessee; her caregiver Lesia Comfort; and her friend Chase Collins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the High Funeral Home (101 College St, McMinnville, TN 37110).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels.
