With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Violet Nell Young of McMinnville, Tennessee, born in Liberty, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2024 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Fuson and Pairalee Robinson Fuson (Davis Ramsey Young); her siblings, Jim Fuson (Claira) and Callie Wilson (VL); her brother-in-law Carson Young; and also Eddie Young.
She is survived by: her sister Robbie Young; her children, Danny Young (Gail) and Melinda Raper (Terry); her grandchildren, Misty Shehane, Heather Smith (Bryan), Josh Young, John Cody Young (Raven), Terrence Raper (Kayla), Mitchell Raper (Kimberly) and Cody Raper (Anastasia); and her brothers, Danny Barnes and Ray Gilder. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers Mrs. Young's family requests contributions be made to the McMinnville/ Warren County Meals on Wheels in her memory.
