He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Wood and Violet Wood. He is survived by: his wife Betty Wood; his son Adam Wood; his daughter-in-law Haley; his granddaughters, Lyla and Layten Wood; his sisters, Norma Myers (Arthur) and Sue Lampley of Dickson; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Hardcastle and Floyd Hardcastle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief, Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, or Gospel of Christ.
