He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Elrod and Merkie Elrod of McMinnville; and his brothers, James "Jimmy" Elrod and Ronnie Elrod of McMinnville. He is survived by: his wife Jenny "Sissy" Elrod of McMinnville; his daughter Leta Nichole Elrod of McMinnville; his grandson Brayton Wayne Blair of McMinnville; his mother-in-law Ola Marie Alley of McMinnville; his brother-in-law Michael Clemmons (Pam) of Chattanooga, TN; his siblings, Janie Elrod of McMinnville, Danny Elrod of McMinnville, David Elrod (Melody) of McMinnville and Andy Elrod of McMinnville; his aunts, Debbie Elrod of McMinnville and Marva Cooper (John) of Jasper, TN; his uncle Doug Elrod; and his nieces, Kalie Elrod and Michelle Hicks Thurman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
