He was predeceased by: his parents, Mickey McCoig and Ruby Florence Ball McCoig; his brothers, Mikey McCoig, Jr. and Mitchell McCoig; and his nephew Danny Carter.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Patton (Brandon), Carissa Kell (Keaton) and Mitchell McCoig (Sheri); his sister Ida McClendon (Jerry); his grandchildren, Allie Patton, Campbell Kell, Bailey Piche and Kaylan McCoig; and his nieces, Kristy Schrimsher and Jennifer Brazell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel (117 Underwood Rd, McMinnville, TN 37110). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
