She is survived by: her children, Melvin Simpson, Jr., Pamela Howell (James), Terry Simpson (Cindy), Sandra Wasik (Steve) and Angela Montgomery (Daniel); her sister Patricia Root; and her grandchildren, Chad Simpson (Jessi), Brittany Stevenson (Thomas), Dustin Howell, Candace Miller (Joe), Dalton Montgomery, Felicity Montgomery, Cody Montgomery, Chloe Montgomery and Matthys Lourens. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
