He is survived by: his wife Wanda Gunter of McMinnville; his children, Jequita Gilbert of Christiana, Amanda Hewitt of Tampa, FL and James Cole of Bristol, VT; his grandchildren, Makayla Gilbert, Everett Gilbert, Jr., Titus Gilbert, Ezrie Cole, Nathan Hewitt and Jeffery Hewitt, Jr.; his siblings, Roger Gunter of McMinnville, Buddy Gunter of Dickson and Angel Gunter of Murfreesboro; and his brother-in-law Henry Roark of McMinnville.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Woodbury Funeral Home (504 W Main St, Woodbury, TN 37190). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home (504 W Main St, Woodbury, TN 37190).
