He was predeceased by: his parents, Brandon Jones and Mary Hutson Jones; his children, Lonnie "Lonnieboy" Jones and Lori Jones Mull; his sisters, Frances Tallant and Gloria Sparkman; and his nephews, Michael Jones and Paul Sparkman.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Haskins Jones; his grandchildren, Daniel E. Jones (Bailey) and Allyson Jones; his brother Larry Jones (Frances); and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Sparkman, Dan Haskins, Sue Franks (Alan) and Roseann Yates (Buster).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home of Benton (6439 US-411, Benton, TN 37307). A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Union Grove Church of Christ (4889 Bates Pike SE, Cleveland, TN 37323).
