He was predeceased by: his mother Lorraine Sanderson; and his siblings, Samuel, Robert, David and Mary Rust.
He is survived by: his wife Eda Sanderson; his son Scott Sanderson; his siblings, James Sanderson (Betty) of Winchester, Roy Sanderson (Twila) of Houma, Louisiana and Esther Diggs of Houma, Louisiana; and his father James Sanderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
