It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Harper of McMinnville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 21, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Harrison and Lorene Holt Harper; his wife Charlotte Belle "Dolly" Disbro Harper; his daughter Lila Terry; and his siblings, Lowell "Bub" Harper, Earl Harper, Clifton Harper and Katherine York.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Tate (David) of McMinnville and Sharon Childress (Leonard Leggett) of McMinnville; his son-in-law Larry Terry of McMinnville; his grandchildren, George Tate (Trena) of McMinnville, Steve Terry (Shannon) of McMinnville, Tracie Travis (Brent) of McMinnville, Bobby Jones, Jr. of McMinnville, Tammy Pinegar (Donnie) of McMinnville, Katrina Blake of McMinnville and Monty Terry (Carrie) of Manchester, TN; and his sister-in-law Marlene Lynch of Painesville, OH.. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
