Steakley Jr. of McMinnville, Tennessee, born in Spencer, Tennessee, who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lancer Steakley, Sr. and Mary Jo Russell Steakley. He is survived by: his wife Nanette Steakley; his sons, Lanny Anderson, John Anderson (Kim) and William Jeremy Steakley (Mindy); his sister Gail Holder; his grandchildren, Stephanie Anderson, Ashley Shroyer (Warren), Jacob Anderson (Tessa), Liam Steakley, Elle Steakley and Addie Steakley; and his great grandchild Dawson Shroyer.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel (117 Underwood Rd, McMinnville, TN 37110). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
