He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Bethel and Alma Elizabeth Johnson Patterson; and his brother James Thomas Patterson. He is survived by: his children, James Ray Patterson of Smithville, TN, David Patterson (Sherry) of McMinnville, Terry Patterson (T. J.) of McMinnville and Rhonda Marie Craven (Randy) of McMinnville; his grandchildren, Jamie Patterson (Taunya), Angel Patterson, Nick Patterson (Anna), Tommy Patterson (Shay), Joe Patterson (Lindsay) and Chasity Gilbert (Mike); and his niece Linda Patterson. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM and at 1:00 PM at the Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church (594 Short Mountain Rd, McMinnville, TN 37110).
