He is survived by: his wife Jana "Jan" Swift Hovdet; his children, Eric Hovdet (Patty) and Kristin Meece (Scott); his grandchildren, Courtney Bradley (Jacob), Hannah Meece, Mary Hovdet and Shana Alford (Daniel); and his great grandchildren, Emma Bradley, Colton Bradley, Skyler Alford, Harmony Alford, Melody Alford and Symphony Alford.
