He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thurman and Bessie Whiteaker Butcher; his siblings, Minnie Willene Crawford, Geneva Warren, Emma Jean Cole, Alton Butcher and Rabon Butcher; and his son-in-law Ronald Bagley (late Irene Duncan Butcher).
He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Bagley; his granddaughters, Juliane O'Brien and Jennifer Schultz; his great grandchild Heather DeRusha; his nephews, Tommy Crawford (Leisa), Jimmy Crawford (Linda) and Paul Studer; and his close friends, Larry and Debbie Fults.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McMinnville Funeral Home (117 Underwood Rd, McMinnville, TN 37110). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel (117 Underwood Rd, McMinnville, TN 37110).
