He is survived by: his son Carl Burgess (Tamisha) of McMinnville; his grandchildren, Carissa Jones (Justin) of Cookeville, Meagan Burgess (Colby) of Spencer, Miranda Bain (Samuel) of McMinnville and Zachary Burgess (Rylan); his great grandchildren, Carter, Cae Lynn Jones, Barron Burgess, Sherman Bain and Rosemary Bain; and his siblings, Harlan Burgess, Daniel Burgess (Monica), Arvil Burgess, Mary Etta Bouldin, Delilah Watson (Larry) and Zodell Jones.
