She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Mayes and Mary Pearson Mayes; her husband Sam Eugene Walker; and her siblings, Carrie Blanks, Edna Woodlee, Frances Bell, Charlene Smith, Lucille Blankenship, George, Willie and Howard Mayes.
She is survived by: her son Eric Walker (Rhonda) of Morrison, TN; her grandsons, Cody Walker (Trisha) of Morrison, TN and Casey Tomberlin (Martha) of Morrison, TN; and her great grandchildren, Hayden Spears of Morrison, TN, Westin Walker of Morrison, TN, Kimber Walker of Morrison, TN and Bo Tomberlin of Morrison, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tennessee Hereford Women's Scholarship Fund, Central Church of Christ Benevolence Fund or the American Diabetes Association.
