He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Bateman and Eva Mae Cloyd Bateman; and his sisters, Carolyn Diaz and Barbara Garner. He is survived by: his wife Trudy Sullivan Bateman of McKenzie; his sister Linda Faye Williams of McKenzie; his nieces and nephews, Charles Garner, Julie Garner and Stacy Sullivan (Sayward); and his great-nieces, Lucy and Laela Sullivan.
