It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Merwin (McKenzie, Tennessee), who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Paul may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chauncey Merwin and Alice Merwin; and his son Mark Merwin. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn "Tillie" Merwin; his son Jerome Merwin (Debbie) of Wright City, MO.; and his sister Sara Lyon (Ed) of Memphis. He is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the McKenzie First Baptist Church (619 Stonewall St N, McKenzie, TN 38201).
