He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Richard and Annie Laura Beard Richard; and his brothers, Robert G. Richard, Starons R. Richard, Lawrence Richard and David Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Wilson Richard of Atwood; his children, Regina Medlin (Terry) of Milan and Jimmie Dunlap (Kathy) of Hornlake, MS; and his grandchildren, Mandy Stoots (Jennifer), Miracle Medlin, Tanner Medlin, Anna Medlin, Hunter Dunlap and Addie Dunlap. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
