He was predeceased by: his parents, James Frederick and Helen Dial Batton of Virginia; and his sisters, Freddie Ghyers and Irene Daniels. He is survived by: his daughter Jaclyn Mayo (Mike) of McKenzie; his brother Bruce Batton (Anita) of McKenzie; his grandchildren, Dylan Hart and Audry Hart; and his former wife Ruth Batton Morgan.
