He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudie Lankford and Iva Traywick Lankford; and his brother James Edward Lankford. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Travillian Lankford; his children, Jennifer Lankford Cole (Robby) of Hoover, AL and Jonathan Lankford (Christy) of McKenzie; and his great grandchildren, Isaac, Jacob, Sarah Elizabeth, Noah Keene, Milo, Ella Rose Nelson, Luke Henry Hobbs and Major Reynolds.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Bethel University scholarship fund, Long Rock Methodist Church, or Asera Care Hospice.
