He was predeceased by: his stepparents, Gene Adams and Pam Lowery. He is survived by: his parents, Darrell E. Lowery, Sr. of Hornbeak and Sandi Davis Adams (Terry Overman) of McKenzie; his children, Ashley Brown of Union City, Teri Sic (Emmett) of Kansas City, Ivy Lee (Brandon) of Gleason, Drake Brown of McKenzie, Hunter Lowery (Danielle) of Hornbeak and Dylan Maupin of Murray; and his siblings, April Minor (Pat) of McKenzie, Lori Adams of Halls, Skylier Lowery (Ali) of Hornbeak and Dwayne Adams (Angie) of Rock Island. He is also survived by five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
