He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Warren Sexton and Myrtle Allen Key; and his siblings, James Sexton, Billy J. Sexton, Betty Joyce Delaney and Mary Margaret Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Williams Sexton; his sons, Steve Sexton of Greenfield and Mike Sexton (Karen) of Greenfield; his sister Alice Lindsley of McKenzie; his grandchildren, Katie Thompson (Mathew) and Tyler Sexton (Hannah); and his great grandchildren, Jase, Maddox, Tucker, Ellie, Charlie and Marley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home (1740 Cedar St, McKenzie, TN 38201). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
