He was predeceased by: his parents, Vollie Matlock and Ollie Matlock; his wife Marjorie Matlock; and his siblings, Cynda Golden, Thomas Matlock and John William Matlock.
He is survived by: his son Steven Matlock (Barbara) of McKenzie; his sister Stella Matlock of Camden; his granddaughter Jennifer Hart (Greg); his great grandchildren, Jason Wafford and Joshua Wafford (Alison); and his great great grandchildren, Addison, Miley, Aurora and Luca.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home (1740 Cedar St, McKenzie, TN 38201). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
