He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hampton and Bertha Hampton; his wife Mary Ann Hampton; his siblings, Evon Hampton and Darnell Jamison; his stepson Shannon Milton; and his nephew Stanley Jamison.
He is survived by: his children, Carlos Milton of McKenzie, TN, Ladevia Hartsfield of Nashville, TN, Felisha Williams of Lexington, TN and Melisa Hardimon of Humboldt, TN; and his siblings, Josephine Melton, Virginia Taylor, Barbara Owens (Anthony), Kim Hampton of Huntingdon, TN, Gearlean Buckley of Nashville, TN, Cynthia Pittman of Clarksville, TN, Richard Hampton (Gwen) and Rodney Hampton (Angie) of Huntingdon, TN. He is also survived by three aunts and one uncle; three grandsons and seven granddaughters; and a host of nieces and nephews.
