She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Douglas and Ellen Stephens Watson; and her siblings, Pat Watson, James Watson, Tim Watson and Kenny Watson.

She is survived by: her sons, Justin Smith of Puryear and Roger Birdwell of Greenfield; and her siblings, Pam Stano (Donnie) of Routen and Tommy Watson of McKenzie. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
