She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Kemper Sr. and Isabelle Lassiter Kemper; her husband Franklin D. Ferguson; and her brother Bill Kemper. She is survived by: her sons, David Ferguson (Melinda) of McKenzie and Mike Ferguson (Lori) of McKenzie; her brother John T. Kemper Jr.; her grandchildren, Andi Harrington (Travis), Heather Robertson (Frank) and Amanda Ninness (Alan); and her great grandchildren, Callie, Case, Gracie, Alicyn and Aubry.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home (1740 Cedar St, McKenzie, TN 38201). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made to St. Jude or to her church Fairview Baptist Church.
