It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Brooks Carter (McKenzie, Tennessee), born in Huntingdon, Tennessee, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Ernest Brooks and Lou Jean King Brooks of McKenzie; her husband Melvin Carter, Jr. of McKenzie; her sons, Michael Carter of McKenzie, Andre Carter of Monterey, CA and Matthew Carter of McKenzie; her siblings, Regina Thompson of McKenzie and Ernest Brooks, Jr. (Kay) of Greenfield; and her granddaughter A'Launa Carter.
