Thomas Ray Tummins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Ray Tummins of McEwen, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Henry Tummins and Lola Lee Berryman Tummins; and his siblings, Billy Tummins, Walter Tummins, Delmar Tummins, Bobby Tummins, Imogene Tummins, Buddy Tummins and Betty Ann Potter.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Tummins; his children, Brandon Tummins and Ashley Webb (Stephen); his granddaughters, Lola Sophia and Lottie Estella; his siblings, Charlie Tummins (Nancy), Tony Tummins (Rita) and Rhonda Tummins (Robert); and his siblings-in-law, Naomi Tummins, Linda Sutton and Charles Potter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
For those desiring, memorials may be made to "MHS Softball" at McEwen High School (attn: Heather Nix), in memory of Ray Tummins to help with additions and improvements to the softball facility.
